   1. Respect and Civil Discourse

     [] Debate versus attacks: Focus on ideas and arguments, not on individuals. Call out ideas, not people; avoid insults, sarcasm, and baiting.
     [] Conflict resolution: If a discussion becomes heated, take a pause, use private messaging to de-escalate, or request moderator assistance.
     [] Reporting and responses: Use the Report feature to flag violations. Moderation may intervene with edits, warnings, or sanctions as outlined in Section 7.
   2. Relevance and Organization
   • [] Topic placement: Post in the correct subforum for the subject matter. If unsure, choose the most relevant category or ask a moderator.
     [] Thread structure: Use descriptive, clear titles. Keep initial posts focused on the topic; avoid vague or misleading headlines.
     [] Content quality: Contribute meaningful, on-topic content. Avoid low-effort posts that do not advance the discussion.
     [] Thread navigation: Use quotes and citations where helpful. Do not hijack threads with off-topic tangents or repetitive posts.
   • Moderation actions: Moderators may move, merge, split, or close threads to maintain order and quality.
   3. No Spam or Self-Promotion
   • [] Spam and repetition: No unsolicited mass posting, repeated posts, or irrelevant links.
     [] Self-promotion: Limited self-promotion unless allowed in designated areas; include value to the community and disclose affiliations.

   4. Privacy and Safety

     [] Doxxing and doxxing-adjacent content: Not allowed. Do not reveal sensitive identifiers, contact details, or private information.

   • Moderation cooperation: Follow moderator instructions regarding sensitive content or privacy concerns.
   5. Content Ownership and Copyright

     [] Forum license: By posting, you grant the forum a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and promote your content to operate the forum, per Section 6 of the Terms (if applicable).

     [] Finality and process: Moderators’ decisions are binding but subject to the appeals process outlined in Section 7 of the Rules (or the forum’s Terms).

     [] Automatic tools: The forum may employ filters, automated blocks, or other tools to enforce rules.

   7. Enforcement and Appeals
